JYSS has recently expanded and is now one of the largest provides of education & training services in the Perth North Metropolitan area.
For young people looking to move ahead in this area who are not suited to or don't like traditional schooling, JYSS is a fantastic alternative. Our services are tailored to the needs of at-risk young people and are flexible enough to allow you the freedom to make your own choices.
Whether the young person is showing signs of leaving school or has been disengaged for a lengthen period of time JYSS can help. We currently provide education & training services in the following areas;
For Students

Alternative education, which allows you to complete Year 10 and other TAFE accredited Certificates in IT, Business and Workplace Prep - (COMET)

Intensive youth work in schools, which currently allows at-risk students at Warwick Senior High School access support from JYSS - (Fasttrack)

Outreach youth workers who support young people showing signs of disengaging from school (Youth Connections Stream 1)

Outreach youth workers who support young people who are severely disengaged and have been out of school for a significant amount of time (Youth Connections Stream 2)
For Schools

Outreach workers who will work in partnership with other community and local government agencies to link in with existing outreach programs, with the aim of engaging young people who are not accessing support services (Youth Connections Stream 3)
