Louise Giolitto
CEO

Louise joined JYSS in July 2007. She brings over 15 years of experience in community services to the role of CEO. Louise has worked in a variety of community services, working with youth and indigenous communities. Along with her expertise in business management, extensive experience in human resource management, financial management and youth employment services, she currently holds Small Business Management Cert IV, Training and Work Place Assessment Cert IV and has done further studies in Career and Employability Studies and Sociology.

Elise Jorgensen
Education, Employment and Training Services Manager

Elise joined JYSS in 1997 starting as a Youth Support and Development Worker in the JYSS JPET service. Elise has a Bachelor of Social Science - Youth Work and a Diploma in Leadership and Management, as well a training qualifications. Elise is passionate about ensuring suitable education opportunities are available and delivered for young people who may require a little more assistance or another chance in a fresh environment. She is also keen to see young people take up jobs and career paths which interest them.

Melissa Porteous
Supported Accommodation Services Manager

Melissa has been employed with JYSS in 1997 initially as a casual at TINOCA in the JYSS SAAP services. Melissa has a Bachelor of Social Science, Youth Work and Addiction Studies. Melissa is currently completing a Diploma in Leadership and Management. Melissa is passionate about seeing young people have a safe, secure and affordable place to live. Sometimes this may be a temporary supported accommodation, but preferably in a place and social environment where the young person can feel more at home and get on with their other interests.

Sue Epps
Administration Officer

Sue has been with JYSS since 1999 as the Administration Officer. Sue has over 25 years experience in administration and office management as well as small businesses. Sue is currently completing a Certificate III in Financial services at Joondalup TAFE. Sue’s wealth of experience and dedication to keeping the administration functioning smoothly ensures the management team can focus on our core business, the business of working to improve young people’s lives.
